Since 2012, I have been writing a novel one chapter a year, exclusively in October. I now have a 41,000 word feature length book going into the late game. Chapter XI brings us to the edge of the story's climax, with more sex and gore than ever.   I update this site little more than once a year, and I know little of who may care. I am not doing this for clicks however, I am an artist painting a very large canvass under most unusual conditions. I am doing this because I am quite mad. On some distant horizon, this forgotten blog will be a book, and I will not let it slip, not this year, or the next, or ever, until it is simply, done. So with that in mind, my beloved reader, prepare. September is upon us, and that means Spirit Halloweens the world over are popping up.  It has been a full year since I posted here, but yes I am still alive, and yes, I am updating  La Saveur de la vie  at its regular annual time. That's right, before Halloween 2020 (the scariest year in living memory), a new chapter of Annette's tale will be posted.  Beginning in 2012, this story is a full length novel written and delivered one chapter a year for Halloween.
