PART THIRTEEN

Dans Les Ténèbres de L'Enfer. 

(La Fin de Toutes Choses)

It is October of 2024, and I am writing part 13, the end of all things. You may or may not have been following this story, but here we are at the end, and the time to start or start again, is now. This is due to be the end of the story, if all goes well (it won't). 

La Saveur de la Vie, or The Flavour of Life, is a tale I've been spinning since 2012, every chapter written in October, and with difficulty, put down before Halloween. I allowed myself only to write one chapter a year, never more or less. It has been an exercise in patience and self exploration. Though I have written many novels (several available now on Amazon) this is my darkest, most blood drenched, and erotic tale by FAR. I have also, strangely, made it free on my blog. This whole book exists only here. For now, once the tale is done, I have always intended to edit and compile it into a novel. So, that's coming soon, I guess. I'm not sure what I'll keep here for free, so read it while you can.

I have edited the early chapters a little over the years, but you can also watch my evolution as a writer through this story. The old chapters are still fun and well put together, but I really didn't know where the story would go back then. It's been a journey. Reaching the end is strange. I haven't typed it yet, and anything could still happen, but I know we're here, It's time. Annette is almost free. Don't worry though, I'll write a new one next year, and for the next thirteen years ahead. Who knows what I'll explore, but I promise it will be dark.

Happy Halloween 2023! Since 2012, I have been keeping this tradition up and I love it. I doubt six people have read this thing in its entirety, but it is one of my favorite stories. If you don't know what I'm talking about, ever year around Halloween, I put up a new chapter of my serial   La Saveur de la Vie ( or: The Flavour of Life), a sensual vampire blood-bath ripe for the season. Some chapters  are shorter, some are longer, they all end precisely where they must. The story revolves around an angry young Vampire with unusual power named Annette, her sexy French sire Sebastian, and the villainous vampire neurosurgeon Dr. Matwau,  who wants her mutated brain for study and dissection.
