Samuel Blondahl's Halloween Horror serial: La Saveur de la Vie.

In 2012, I started writing La Saveur de la Vie as an annual horror serial novel. In 2026, it ends. With a word count of almost 58,000, it is a light novel, and one that has wound through my life as I navigated several other novels and projects, massive upheavals, moves across the country (twice), and all manner of nonsense. Last year I moved the story off this blog to my home website, but this year I had to shut that site down, so to here it returns.      I am proud and sad to say though, that like it as not, the story has come to a natural conclusion this year. I have seen that coming for two years now, and it is no surprise. I could keep it going, but it would have to become something new in order to function. I think in truth, I would like to turn my attention away from the trials of Annette and Sebastian, but there will be a new Halloween release of some kind going forward. La Saveur de la Vie is an ongoing annual Halloween Horror special written one chapter a year, starting in 2012. Next month I begin writing 2025's chapter of this blog's ongoing Halloween special. It's always exciting to dive back into the un-life of Annette. This year, I've been revamping (pun intended) my website, and I have uploaded the entire text of  La Saveur de la Vie as a convenient .PDF, which is easier to manage for me, easier to handle for the webpage, and should be much easier to for you to read.
